Grand Theft Auto 5

Whatever you want to talk about, for whatever reason. Can't believe you don't want to discuss zombies though... shame on you.

It handled it's own hype perfectly considering it has basically snagged every GOTY award already with it's only comp being The Last of Us along with plenty of reviewers and news sites calling it the game of this console generation and the culmination of every Rockstar game to date lol. Oh and they also made a billion dollars in three days. Their only **** up was this online **** (and BOY was it a **** up), the core game is still God-tier in terms of video games.

I never plan on getting it, cus GTA was made by satan worshippers to encourage upstanding white people to listen to rap and break into cars! >:c

I just might make a real life crew and go rob a liquor store to satiate my thirst for GTA online, maybe murder a hooker or two.

My friends and I anticipated this kinda thing would happen, mainly because it seems to always happens with highly anticipated games. It happened with Final Fantasy, it happened with Sim City 2013 and it was bound to happen with GTA V.

What I don't get is how time and time again developers always underestimate the amount of traffic they're going to receive and still manage to create a server that goes kaput the moment people try to get on. They hype something up but fail to prepare for the massivse surge that comes with a successful hype campaign.

If they released online with the game itself then the problems of this magnitude would be more than expected and understandable, but they had two weeks to prepare, to buy new servers and fix certain bugs. The two week delay was just pointless now and it only made things worse for them since they didn't use the delay and some of that billion they made to buy some **** servers.

Dear journal.

It's day 3 of the Rockstarbeingdumbshitsandnotpreparingtheirserverspoperly crisis. Supplies are running low, tensions are running high. If the servers are not returned to functional capacity, I fear for the fate of all of humanity should the GTA fans take to the streets and play GTA online in real life. Dark times are upon us, and chaos is looming on the horizon and Rockstar is the only company capable of saving the world from total anarchy.

Gods be with us.
