World Of Tanks

Whatever you want to talk about, for whatever reason. Can't believe you don't want to discuss zombies though... shame on you.

I thought I'd quote this from a Q&A in honor of the fool who said the IS-6 was garbanzo:

MURAZOR wrote: IS-6 is currently better than all other tanks of the same tier but not as much as the M6A2E1.

I think that's a stretch also. It does still have a terribly inaccurate gun with 175mm's of penetration. Even using gold ammo it's unable to contest the KV-4 frontally or from the side if he's even slightly angled. The E75, Vk4502B, and T-54 style tanks are also more or less immune to it from the front. It can only pen itself frontally if you manage to hit the loader or commanders hatches (Which is easier for me than most because 5 skill crew) and its reliance on sloping over raw thickness leaves it quite vulnerable to arty.

I adore the tank, it's my second most played and I never once regretted picking it up. But the second best tier 8? That's a bit of a joke lol. It has premium MM for a reason.

This ain't some rando who's saying this though. This is a guy who works for WG (does all sorts of Q&A sessions every so often), who's in tune with the game stats (win rates, dmg, etc.). I see your point, but if the guys at WG are saying it, there's likely some truth to it.

All in all, the guy who that it's a bad tank was very dumb, lol.

Then I think he's just being a dumbass in saying that, lol WG employee or not. IS-3 outclasses it in nearly ever conceivable way. As does T32, T34 (Hence why it DOESN'T have premium MM) a vast majority of the TD's at that tier, KV-4, Tiger 2, T-54 Mod 1, etc.

It's a lot of things, the second best tier 8 is not one of them.
