That sounds good. The immediate abandoning of Sydney felt a bit odd to me as I looked back, so more time there in this book is definitely useful. If it was mere days or weeks from Malorie and Ivy leaving, it'd help explain Malorie so readily brutalizing Mary's ex and his side chick since she'd be on edge after losing Jhonny.

And I got someone to cover for me tomorrow specifically so I could write and relax. Malorie’s story is essentially all I think about as I work, and I've beem steadily going crazy not adding to it as more and more scenarios come to mind while I help retards pump gas.

That's a funny mental image, haha. It's good to here that you'll be working on this, and even more so tomorrow as I can actually make some time to do editing and such tomorrow.

Another post, another battle.

Expect downtime in the next one, followed by another battle.

Everytime I read these it reminds me of those war novels I read and makes me want to read more of them.

Good stuff, Teddy. I'm curious to see what comments the squad has on that mess.

For the record, is it plastic explosives under the armor, or something else?

Thanks. And correct, some C4 tucked up against their chests and backs. Every fifth zombie has a low quality camera in its helmet for distant observers to see what's going on and decide when to detonate the vests. That camera Malorie noticed was set up as an additional, higher quality picture viewpoint.

Here, have some obligatory Malorie pictures now that I jumped back into Fallout and refined her appearance a little.

Upon further consideration, the first picture is now my new desktop background.

I was rereading when Malorie first arrived in Portland, so I listened to this and it made it a lot better.
