Neat! And very nice @Old Faithful. I am particularly fond of the wood handle. Did you treat it any or just the metal?

They're resin grips actually, never done anything to them really.

Oh, yeah. Of Course you wouldn't if they were resin, that's my bad, I didn't look hard enough and thought they were some deep red wood.

I have a deep love for wood furniture. I don't know if its bad for the wood or not, but sometimes if I have any excess oil dripping off the metal I like to rub it down the stock to make it shiney.

I thought they were wood for the longest time and I own the thing lmao so don't feel bad.

I use wood polish on my rifle stocks.

Would you suggest a particular brand? I'm not knowledgeable with that kind of stuff and I'm always afraid if I get some into the receiver it might have an adverse affect, so I always try and use stuff I think the internals will like.

No, nothing in particular. I separate the stock from every metal component that I can before applying it, then I let it sit and dry before I rebuild the gun.

I don't bother with my SKS, because getting that things trigger mechanism back into the **** furniture is retardedly difficult lmao.

Hadn't considered taking the stock off the gun. Oops.

Either way, good to know. I'm especially fond of the look of my Model 94 and keep looking for ways to make it prettier. Might post some pictures if I ever get around to messing with any polish.

Yeah, there's a reason that when we started the RP I had that and my Walther as Teddy's weapons instead of any of my other 11 lol.
