Beta testers wanted for ZOS on iOS

Postby Saxon » Fri Apr 05, 2013 11:25 pm

Hi everyone,

The new version of ZOS on iOS is getting closer to release. I've made a lot of changes to bring back Google Maps, so I've probably added some bugs :) And so I'm looking for people to help me beta test it.

If you're interested then please fill in this form.

Thanks!

That design looks cool. Did you find someone for art?

Yeah, there's no way I could make something that looks that good :)

So thanks to Shath Maguire for the artwork!

What's the difference from online to offline?

The offline maps are the ones in the current version, which use aerial photos embedded in the app, and so don't require Internet access. The online maps use google maps, and so require Internet access.

Would it be possible for a person on a Kindle Fire to be a Beta tester?

It's iOS-only at the moment, although I'd like to build an Android version at some point in the future (which in theory would also support the Kindle Fire).

Hopefully! :) I'm planning to submit it to Apple in the next couple of days, then it usually takes them about a week to approve it.
