I disagree completely.
The collision map is obviously lined up, if you look at things like the play structure in the schoolyard. You probably mistook the overhangs on the school as walls that weren't lined up, but it's supposed to be like that

Even though the walls are lined up, the fact that the guy used such thick walls makes me mad. the size of the doors and windows too, but the map still works, so it can be allowed.

Well sheeeeiiit. That's one of my maps Image

I already know the image is off. Gotta go back and fix that soon. :P

I'm surprised it got selected during the random map thing. Cool.

The start point is in the middle of a large river.

This map was created back when you couldn't change the start point. I've emailed the author of the map to ask him to set a start point.

These users seem to have an eternal hatred of windows

I also emailed both of these to ask them to add windows. I used to live near that first one :)

Also btw, I've updated your map so that it should properly appear on the world map now.

I've emailed these to ask them to add some more windows.

I think this one is not too bad.

Also btw, as a general rule I don't want to be *too* picky with the existing maps, I'd just like to remove the obviously really bad ones.

In the future what I'd like to do is add the ability for players to rate maps, and then have the highest rated maps appear on the world map. That way it will average out everyone's opinions on what makes a good or bad map. Also, maps where google have moved the images will naturally fall off the world map after a while of low ratings (or perhaps I should have some other system for that - like a 'report map' button, and after some number of reports the map is removed until the author edits it).

I've removed these from the world map, except for the second one - I agree with coins that it looks accurate, although I agree with tyrud that the thick walls are a bit ugly. But I think I'll leave it for now - although I emailed the author to let them know, in case they do the same thing next time they make a map.

I agree this one is a bit ugly, but I don't think it's *too* bad - so I've emailed the author suggesting that the walls should be thinner.

I removed this one. I think this was a combination of Google updating the images (and so the walls were *slightly* off, and also all the cars were missing), and also the author never put in the trees (not sure why Jay approved it originally, maybe he was feeling generous that day :)).

Thanks for all your work hunting down bad maps! :D

Hey, if you could, could you remove my map? The outlines are all screwed up, and there were even entirely new buildings built in the time it took Google to upload the imagery, so needless to say its in a pretty poor condition.

I found more maps that I think need to be removed:

http://www.class3outbreak.com/maps/7069 ... sa/games/1 - one big building and nothing else

http://www.class3outbreak.com/maps/3872 ... sa/games/1 - one big, open field with few lootable buildings

http://www.class3outbreak.com/maps/3169 ... sa/games/1 - collision map doesn’t line up with image, certain objects not colored (cars, buildings, trees, ect.)

http://www.class3outbreak.com/maps/1342 ... sa/games/1 - collision map doesn’t line up with image/confusing

http://www.class3outbreak.com/maps/2537 ... ka/games/1 - collision map doesn’t line up with image, cars/other objects not colored

Thanks Coins.

I removed the last 3, but I kept the first 2 - even though they're a bit boring, they're still correct.
